I know we’re all waiting for a new TOOL album, but can I interest you in a new Meytal Tool cover to ease your wait? extra shout out to my patrons for choosing this song a couple of months ago! it was a rough shoot with a million problems, my stomch was hurting from too much popcorn, my left contact lens was bugging me, I moved a microphone which made me feel like the drums we’re closing in on me, and just a million little problems! I was pretty sure I’m gonna want to re-shoot it but minus my slouchy performance, I’m actually really happy with it!

Kevin who usually mixes my videos wasn’t avail, as he was on tour, so this was done by a new mixing engineer, his name is Mazen, he’s from Jordan, a neighboring country to my home land of Israel, and a gem of a human! I think he did a pretty sick job! ALSO! I’m really excited I was finally able to incorporate some pad action, first time for me. I don’t think I did an hhhaamazing job at picking sounds that match Danny’s tabla but A for effort?

FULL LECHON IN VINALES

1. BATEY LOS LORENZOS (Family house)
ADDRESS: Vinales, Cuba

🐖CUBA LECHON ASADO: Clean and cut the pig, then place it on a hammock. In each pocket of the pig, add seasoning (garlic, onion, cumin, calamondin and lime). Add salt in each pocket as well as on the skin. Place pig over an open fire and cover it with banana leaves for 3 hours. After 3 hours, flip the pig on the hammock and cook for one more hour.

🍚CONGRI (Cuban Black Beans and Rice): In a big pot, add the dried black beans, water and bring it to a boil. In a separate bowl, mash garlic, cachucha pepper, cilantro and onion together. Add the spices/seasoning to the boiling water with the beans, then add white rice. Add pork fat and grease to the pot, mix and then allow to cook until water is absorbed.

🇨🇺MALANGA (Fried Taro Chips): Peel the taro. Slice into circular shaped chips and fry in pork grease. Top with salt.

🍌PLANTAIN (Fried Plantain Chips): In a pan, add pork grease and bring to a boil. Slice the plantain and fry.

🇨🇺YUCCA (Boiled Yucca/Cassava): Peel the yucca potatoes. Chop into large pieces and boil in water (no seasoning). Wait 20 minutes or so until cooked.

☕CAFÉ CUBANO (Cuban Coffee): Pick the beans from the tree. Lay the beans out on a large tarp and allow them to sit in the sun and dry. Mash the beans in a wooden bowl to remove the shells. Roast and grind the beans. Pour the ground beans into hot water and bring it to a boil. Pour the coffee into the filter.

The traditional, British upper-class world that Tatler reports on is changing. She meets Lord Palmer in his 109-room Edwardian pile and Lady Christine de la Rue who is struggling with the upkeep of her castle and being forced to move out.

Over in Moscow, we meet the staff of Tatler Russia, launched five years ago and run by editor, Ksenia Solovieva. Here they report on the emerging Russian super-rich elite who are trying to create their own high society and look to British upper-class traditions to help them. Tatler Russia is leading the way by helping them find the best British boarding schools to send their kids to and hosting a debutante ball for the young daughters of Russia's most powerful families.

Ademar de Barros Moreira owns the legendary french fry stand Batata de Marcehal in Rio de Janeiro. He’s been selling his famous fries for over 30 years, taking enormous pride in selecting the best potatoes and delivering the highest quality food. Ademar worked his way up as a vendor over many years, selling different foods across the city. He can sense the quality of a potato before he even touches it, going through several tons each week. Working with his family, Ademar is a pillar of the neighborhood.
