⁣In the first of six episodes, art dealer Gordon Watson meets Lord Rothschild from the famous banking dynasty. Lord Rothschild has been collecting art since he was ten and has added to a remarkable family collection of traditional and contemporary art, furniture and design, spread between Waddesdon Manor and the Flint House on his estate in Buckinghamshire.
Gordon and Lord Rothschild have known one another for some years but it has been a while since Gordon has visited Waddesdon. Today, he is going along to view the latest additions to Lord Rothschild's collection and to see whether there is anything he can add himself.
Gordon is also given a tour of the award-winning Flint House, a new build on the Waddesdon Estate. Inspired by ideas of what he might sell to Lord Rothschild, Gordon heads to Amsterdam to see at first hand an extraordinary piece of contemporary lighting he has been tipped off about. Gordon is also on the lookout for chairs to match a bespoke outdoor table in keeping with the Flint House design.
Gordon returns to see Lord Rothschild a few weeks later, but will he be able to sell anything to a man who has spent his lifetime collecting the finest art?

⁣Gordon Watson meets Baroness Marion Lambert, a world-renowned art and design collector who has decided to declutter her homes and sell off 300 pieces from her collection in a £15 million auction. The baroness has enlisted the help of one of the world's best auctioneers - Simon de Pury - and Christie's auction house to help her.
Gordon takes a sneak preview of the collection and picks out a few pieces he is hoping to bid on. Will he be able to use his expert dealer knowledge to seek out the best buys and get a good deal?
Also in this episode, Gordon finally tracks down an artist that he has been keen to meet for over a year - but after waiting so long, will Gordon be deemed worthy enough to buy any of Hugo Wilson's paintings?

We explore Lake Malawi. We camp at Monkey Bay and Cape Maclear. We kayak, snorkel and go on a boat cruise. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere next to Lake Malawi.

Tonga, the unexpected Oasis. When we set off this season, Tonga was on the list but it was heavily overshadowed by the likes of French Polynesia, Marquesas and the Cook Islands. The focus was on places like Bora Bora, Mo'orea and Aitutaki. So let me tell you, we were very surprised by how much we LOVE Tonga. LOVE!

Tonga is a Sovereign nation and the first of such we have visited in our Pacific Island tour. It has a different vibe. An authentic one. With 196 islands, only 36 are inhabited. You can can catch a bit of island life or truly get away from it all.

In this Adventure, we land in the Vava’u group in the town of Neiafu to check in with customs. The town is a bustling place with markets full of fish and veg. Crazy little Chinese shops stuffed with everything you could need. And a Moorings charter fleet that helps the economy sustain many friendly Yachty bars and restaurants. We were hooked right away and decided that this is where we would spend the last couple months of our season before heading south to get away from cyclone territory.

The beauty of the Tongan Kingdom is stunning. The beaches are pristine and the people welcoming to their villages. Follow along as we test our limits while free diving in and around Mariner’s and Swallow’s Caves, skim the warm waters in some of the best kite boarding sessions we have had to date. Not to mention the creepiest of spiders with a weird golden web.

The Kindom of Tonga holds a very special place in our heart.

⁣Lord Cholmondeley lives at Houghton Hall, in Norfolk with his young family. A descendant of Sir Robert Walpole, Britain's first prime minister, Lord Cholmondeley continues the tradition of collecting art for the main house and for the grounds of this magnificent stately home.
Gordon Watson and Lord Cholmondeley have been friends for some time, but it has been a while since Gordon visited Houghton and he is keen to see what else has been added to the collection. Visiting stately homes always gives Gordon a good excuse to think about what he might be able to add to these historical houses, and today is no exception.
Following his visit, Gordon takes a trip to Amsterdam in search of unique contemporary objects and eventually finds himself back at Sotheby's auction house in London, where life in the art world began for Gordon over 35 years ago. Will Lord Cholmondeley be keen to buy any of the objects that Gordon finds for him?

Ainsley has family roots in Barbados and has come here many times on holiday but up to now hasn’t seen much of the real food of the island. But that’s about to change as he leaves the comfort of the hotels behind and spends time with the locals, cooking and eating Roti’s on the beach with Mr. Delicious, frying up Legendary Fishcakes at a roadside stall and making the fieriest Hot Sauce he’s ever tasted with Mrs. Hercules!

Every day is special in someway in Barbados, the Thursday lunchtime ‘Fish Fry’ at the Bay Tavern is a great place to kick back, listen to the cricket on the radio and eat some of the sweetest fish in the Caribbean. Ainsley uses Mrs. Hercules’ famous Hot Sauce to dress a Mango and sweet Pepper salad.

On Friday Night Oistins is the only place to be on the Island and while you can eat Flying Fish and Pig Tails Ainsley opts to Grill a spiced Lobster with grilled Green Bean and Salsa salad.
On the roadside Coconut water is sold fresh from the nuts and is the perfect basis for a Rum punch. Ainsley hosts a BBQ on the beach in the rain (I know!) but the Rum barbequed Chicken and the grilled Coconut crusted sweet corn more than make up for a little rain.

⁣London has become a magnet for the super rich who buy homes in one of the world's most vibrant and dynamic cities. After spending millions on buying property, many employ interior designers to help furnish these homes.




Over the years, Gordon has realised that his business and that of the interior designers work well together and Gordon has become the go-to man when it comes to buying the right pieces of furniture, art and other objects to give that extra special touch to a mansion.




In this episode, Gordon takes a stand at PAD, a design fair held once a year at Berkley Square in London. With the well-heeled and affluent guests in attendance, Gordon is hoping to make sales totalling a quarter of a million pounds - but will his hand-picked pieces be enough to persuade the uber rich visiting his stand to part with their cash?

This week we visit an incredible cabin which is packed full of rustic charm. From the large ex-telephone polls outside, to the reclaimed timber and brick interior, this cabin’s construction shows a mastery of the art of salvage.

At only 30m2, this cabin packs a real punch! It's cozy, stylish and emanates a strong sense of home. The clever addition of a semi-outdoor bathroom and the large connecting undercover deck completes the home perfectly.  This small home has largely been constructed using reclaimed materials making it not only affordable but packed full of character.

The cabin is situated on a 5 acre property which is being established as a micro farm, with a small amount of land for grazing animals, growing vegetables as well as impressive conversation wetland plantings.
