Lord Rothschild – The Extraordinary Collector

⁣In the first of six episodes, art dealer Gordon Watson meets Lord Rothschild from the famous banking dynasty. Lord Rothschild has been collecting art since he was ten and has added to a remarkable family collection of traditional and contemporary art, furniture and design, spread between Waddesdon Manor and the Flint House on his estate in Buckinghamshire.
Gordon and Lord Rothschild have known one another for some years but it has been a while since Gordon has visited Waddesdon. Today, he is going along to view the latest additions to Lord Rothschild's collection and to see whether there is anything he can add himself.
Gordon is also given a tour of the award-winning Flint House, a new build on the Waddesdon Estate. Inspired by ideas of what he might sell to Lord Rothschild, Gordon heads to Amsterdam to see at first hand an extraordinary piece of contemporary lighting he has been tipped off about. Gordon is also on the lookout for chairs to match a bespoke outdoor table in keeping with the Flint House design.
Gordon returns to see Lord Rothschild a few weeks later, but will he be able to sell anything to a man who has spent his lifetime collecting the finest art?

⁣Lord Cholmondeley lives at Houghton Hall, in Norfolk with his young family. A descendant of Sir Robert Walpole, Britain's first prime minister, Lord Cholmondeley continues the tradition of collecting art for the main house and for the grounds of this magnificent stately home.
Gordon Watson and Lord Cholmondeley have been friends for some time, but it has been a while since Gordon visited Houghton and he is keen to see what else has been added to the collection. Visiting stately homes always gives Gordon a good excuse to think about what he might be able to add to these historical houses, and today is no exception.
Following his visit, Gordon takes a trip to Amsterdam in search of unique contemporary objects and eventually finds himself back at Sotheby's auction house in London, where life in the art world began for Gordon over 35 years ago. Will Lord Cholmondeley be keen to buy any of the objects that Gordon finds for him?

10 years ago we went on a trip to Madagascar we would never forget.There are memories that deserve to be lived again. Going back this year we realized that some dreams do become true.

Back then Raphael and the team went to the land of a divine barreling left and an ideal lagoon on the Emerald Sea to shoot ADDIKT. The memories of those rides were intact and they were dreaming to relive them.

At the time they dreamt of getting barreled with more compact surfboards, flying above water and landing double handle passes.They inspired some kids to become pro kiteboarders, some others to learn how to fly. Those dreams came true.

Overlanding BOTSWANA | Okavango Delta & The Moremi Game Reserve | Adventure In the Wet Season

The Okavango Delta is Africa's Garden of Eden. It's a place filled with mystery at every corner, an adventurer's paradise, and a wildlife haven. This is a destination that we continually find ourselves wanting to go back to. And in this episode, we make the excuse to off-road adventure travel this amazing place.

Overlanding in Botswana and adventure traveling in the month of February to the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, isn't alwyas advised when the rain is falling. But, ol Ed and I pack up and make this 18 day adventure one to remember.

We visit, Woodlands Lodge and bush campsites, make a stop at Nata Bird Sanctuary just outside of Nata town, spend a night at Planet Baobab, and then, finally, we make it to the Moremi where we spend our first night at South gate, Maqwee campsites in the wilds of Botswana. Waking up the following day we make the drive through mud and water to Third bridge, in the NW of the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. This is a specail place to wild camp, and we are in our absolute element with widlife sightings and the bush at their best.

What an offroad adventure expedition, and a big shout out to the ladies from the Xomae group for assisting us with campsite bookings both in the Moremi and the Nxai Pan National Parks.

In the late 1800s, prospectors descended on the historic town looking to capitalize on its rich copper mines. Over a hundred years later, a different type of pioneer arrived: Maynard James Keenan. The Tool, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle frontman has carved out a uniquely anti-rock-star life in this rugged terrain, filled with winemaking, farming and community building. For two days this past July, Keenan extended a very special invitation to Revolver to join him during this summer's grape harvest.
